What keeps me going at chess coaching is the love of seeing my students’ and their parents’ joy when they win championships. The happiness and satisfaction on their faces is just priceless to see.
With a strong background in competitive chess, Marcus teaches your child from experience. Therefore, he can give not just qualified coaching but ALSO unique insights about chess, its techniques and how to perform in tournaments.
Marcus is a patient and understanding teacher. So, even shy children will always be comfortable in his lesson. His teaching style is fun and engaging, which helps your child learn more effectively in his lesson.
It is Marcus’s motto to always encourage improvement in his students every lesson. That way, they can always come home with better skills and something to be proud off. That is what will help them become champions eventually.
If I can make them improve, say 1% per lesson, then we can do wonders with 1 year of coaching.
